„Wiślana” bicycle route
It is a perfect route for bicycle trip. Leaving Oświęcim city with this path you can reach Cracow. In the future the route will extend from Beskid mountains to the Baltic sea so it will be a big challenge for bicycle lovers.
In Oświęcim the route starts near Sola river and follows Vistula river. It takes 90 kilometers to reach Cracow. Area round this section of the route is a real kingdom of nature and oasis of peace. Mueseum Oświęcim Castle
One of the most important monuments of our city is Piast castle by the Sola river. In the castle there is a museum with expositions of different archeological artefacts, old documents and collections of old everyday objects from pre – war life of Oświęcim citizens. Unusual collestions and exhibitions will allow you to learn more about the town history. One of the biggest attractions during visiting the castle is the beautiful view from the castle tower to the landscapes of Oświęcim which is an unique visual experience. One of the most importat annual events are: Castellan Fair and Long Night of Museums which allow you to travel in time.

Muzeum Auschwitz – Birkenau
The Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum in Oświęcim – a museum created in 1947 by the efforts of former prisoners of KL Auschwitz in order to preserve the remains of the former German Nazi concentration and extermination camp Auschwitz-Birkenau.
